Der Bosch TWK5P480 DesignLine Wasserkocher wird für seine schnelle Kochzeit, Benutzerfreundlichkeit und solide Bauweise gelobt. Die große Öffnung erleichtert die Reinigung, und die Wasserstandsanzeige ist praktisch. Das dreifache Sicherheitssystem sorgt für zusätzliche Sicherheit. Nachteile sind die heiße Außenseite, fehlende Temperatureinstellungen und die Größe. Insgesamt ein zuverlässiger Wasserkocher, aber achten Sie auf die heiße Hülle und fehlende Temperaturwahl.

We chose this one partly on the basis of a Which? review. It feels fairly solid, and seems to boil the water fairly quickly. The switch to turn it on has a nice positive click to it. The lid doesn't open very wide of its own accord, but you get used to that. The shape of the spout means you have to tip the kettle a bit more to pour water out than you might with some other designs. The handle is nice and sturdy.

The kettle boiled quickly and the large handle is useful. However the lid has now stopped working and there is no replacement part, so the kettle is essentially useless. After taking the lid apart (with a screwdriver) I could seee some of the plastic is disintegrating too. I would only buy a kettle with a metal click lid going forward (ie no plastic or springs).

Love Bosch products especially their kettles as they blend in any stainless steel/black aesthetic but again this has proved a little disappointing as it is loud. Whether it is a small or large volume of water being boiled, it is loud.
