Xiaomi Mi WiFi Range Extender, WiFiSignalverstrker, AC1200, DualBand, 1 RJ45 100 Mb/s, RC04

This Xiaomi AC1200 extender is an absolute lifesaver for home Wi-Fi! We used to have terrible signal drops and constant buffering in the back rooms, but this tiny device completely fixed the problem. The dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz speeds give a fast, stable connection perfect for streaming and gaming. Setting it up via the Mi Home app was straightforward, and the smart signal indicator light on the front made it incredibly easy to find the perfect plug point halfway across the house. Excellent value for money—highly recommended! Fast delivery from Takealot as always.

My smaller, cheaper Xiaomi range extender works better.

I found the instructions and installation very easy. It works perfectly. We watch TV now without any buffering with our Mibox. Will definately buy again and recommend this product.

Eady to setup, works very well. Now can pick up good Internet upstairs in my office

The extender is compact and instructions are easy to follow. Setting it up with the app wasn’t working so I set it up ‘manually’ with WPS and then added it to the app to monitor once it was connected. The light indicator that shows if the signal is weak or strong was very useful when trying to find its furthest from the main router but still strongest plug in point. Speed test results were also good when using the extender line, but obviously depends on each persons setup.
