Celestron TravelScope 70 Reisefernrohr

I have returned this item as it wasn’t what I expected,

Bought this but it looks xheap and frail looking,so returned it

I purchased this , just wondering happy I did, enjoyment for all family

Having been in Astronomy for quite some time I got the Celestron Travel Scope 70 as my all around Telescope. It takes a while to learn how to use the Telescope to see the Moon, the Planets, The stars and Star Constellations. One thing I noticed while using the Telescope the Central Column shakes a little. One doesn't have to raise the Central Column just the Legs of the tripod. Another great Advantage is you can use the 45 degree diagonal or you can buy a 90 degree Diagonal from Celestron or another Vendor. Also for the Finders Scope I Bought a Finders Scope the Celestron Star Pointer Red - Dot Finder scope item # 51630. All in all this is a Great Telescope. One great issue and problem you will be addicted to this Telescope and you will enjoy it.

Having a Telescope like this one is Great. Having used many tripods to use with this particular Telescope is a bit overwelmed. But the great thing about this Particular Telescope is that it came with a very nice portable compact Tripod and a 45 degree diagonal and two eyepieces a 10 mm and a 20 mm eyepieces plus a backpack and a CD about Astronomy. About the Tripod, some review said the Tripod should not be used and it's not a very good Tripod. I disagree. many people who have this Telescope uses the Tripod, I am one who like the Tripod very much it's a really good one if you do get this Telescope the Tripod is really great.
