Gitzo GT2543L Mountaineer Series 2 4-Sect. Long

High End Stativ mit besten Eigenschaften und Standfestigkeit. Ich habe ein gutes Stativ gesucht wo man nicht ein Stativrohr in der Hand hält wenn man es zusammen baut. Das Gitzo ist zwar preisintensiv aber ich werde es bis ans Lebensende haben.

I have not used this tripod much. But, it is well made and it does the job. I intend to use it for nature photography and spotting scope.

I have five gitzo tripod, namely: GT1542 eXact, GT2543L eXact, GT 2540FL safari, GT3541L 6X Cabon, and GT4552GTS, each one has its own characteristics:personality and applicability, but the common feature is: stable , strong,and texture. But in the balance of these five tripod is: GT2543L eXact, from its 1. rugged enough , 2 Load enough (I put it to frame 8x10 camera), 3 high enough, let me use it can adapt to uneven ground type, and the weight is not too heavy: 1.74kg, such that I can use this stand in any venue, whether it is the scenery, landscape, portrait, sports, news, press conference, or video occasions, can be fully qualified. There are many so-called performance but close to half the price to gitzo tripod, but they are still insufficient,that wasYou get more then what you buy

Gitzo has alway made great tripods, and the GT2543 is no exception. My only complaint is that this tripod relies on a center post to reach a height suitable for a 6 ft tall photographer. That compromise necessitates extra steps to make photographs near ground level. Despite this limitation, I would recommend this tripod to tall photographers who are looking for a carbon tripod.

I use this with a Nikon 300mm lens which is heavy and it handles it wonderfully with the Wimberley WH-200. I do wish I realized I was also going to have buy a bullhead to use it with smaller lenses and portrait. I'm glad it is extremely light because that helps make up the difference with the Wimberly WH-200 which is very heavy. I also order a bullhead but haven't received it as of yet.
