I love the comforts of this shoe, but the color is too light and look’s grungy quickly.

Shoes arrived today, I put them on & wore for the rest of the day - no break in needed. This is my 2nd pair of Anacapa 2 They are perfect for hiking on trails with ‘rocks & roots’ - supportive yet flexible.

Overall, a good shoe. The Toe-box is a bit untraditional from all of my previous trail running Hoka’s. Too wide roomy in the toe-box

Comfortable and durable. These shoes are both and a joy to hike in. The do fit a little big. I ended up going down half a size.

Love the overall comfort, cushioning and side-to-side stability of these shoes. But the large back-hanging heel is awkward, both visually and functionally. But the main reason for two stars is: SQUEAKS. I don't know, but I suspect water gets in between the two different colors of rubber on the sole and never really dries out, So they squeak loudly when walking. Carpet, wood floors, concrete, dirt, grass - doesn't matter. They squeak. The squeak is internal in the rubber sole, not on the surface on which you are walking. Loud. Annoying. Looking for new shoes even though these still have life in them.
