Der Smith Vantage Helm richtet sich an häufige und ambitionierte Ski- und Snowboardfahrer, die von ihrer Ausrüstung maximale Sicherheit, Komfort und Belüftung erwarten. Durch die Hybrid-Schalenkonstruktion mit Koroyd-Elementen, optionalem MIPS, 21 verstellbaren Belüftungsöffnungen und das BOA 360-Fit-System bietet der Helm einen stabilen und sicheren Sitz sowie eine sehr gute Temperaturregulierung bei unterschiedlichsten Wetterbedingungen. Gleichzeitig liegt der Vantage im oberen Preissegment, fällt bei der Passform eher straff aus und ist etwas schwerer als ultraleichte Tourenhelme, wodurch er vor allem für Fahrer interessant ist, die Allround-Performance und Langlebigkeit höher bewerten als ein möglichst niedriges Gewicht.

I have not tried the helmet in the snow yet, but it fits fine and fells good. It appears to be well made, is solid feeling and adjusts nicely. The liner does not fit well, and creases, so putting the helmet on requires care. ***THE HELMET RUNS SMALL SO ORDER A SIZE UP***

I demo'd this helmet for a full day last week when temperatures dipped below zero. With the wind chill it was -10 degrees. This helmet was ridiculously warm! I had never worn a helmet before while skiing and was skeptical it would provide warmth. I was no longer skeptical after just riding the chair lift to the top of the mountain. My head was completely warm the entire day. The helmet worked perfectly with my Smith IOX goggles. The helmet's BOA system provided an excellent custom fit and was completely comfortable. Thankfully I didn't test the impact protection, however I trust the helmet provides superior protection.
