Der Oakley Mod1 Pro ist ein niedrig profilierter Ski- und Snowboardhelm mit einer robusten Dura-Matter-Außenschale, die ihn widerstandsfähiger gegen Dellen und Alltagsbelastungen macht als viele herkömmliche In-Mold-Modelle. In Kombination mit MIPS und dem Skull Matrix-System, das das BOA 360 Fit-System mit der MIPS-Schicht verbindet, bietet der Helm sowohl eine sehr präzise Rundum-Anpassung als auch zusätzlichen Schutz bei schrägen Aufprallszenarien. Die festen Belüftungsöffnungen sind auf die Goggle-Belüftung abgestimmt und helfen, Beschlagen zu reduzieren, während das Polartec-Innenfutter und die abnehmbaren Ohrenpolster für Wärme, Feuchtigkeitsmanagement und einfache Reinigung sorgen. Im Gegenzug ist der Helm etwas schwerer als der normale Mod1, verfügt nicht über verstellbare Lüftungen und liegt preislich höher, wodurch er vor allem für Vielfahrer interessant ist, die Wert auf Langlebigkeit, Passform und moderne Schutztechnologien legen.

I tried this helmet on with and without the gator I normally ski with. It fit perfectly with the gator and, after easily tightening the helmet while wearing it, then it fit perfectly without the gator, too. Can't wait to to get out on the mountain next season!

I purchased this ski helmet, excited to finally try skiing with it for the first time. However, my experience quickly turned from excitement to fear due to a critical failure of this helmet during my very first use. As the picture shows, the helmet cracked almost completely through after what should have been a manageable fall. This level of damage is unacceptable for a product meant to protect your head during high-impact sports. The integrity of the helmet's material was clearly subpar, leaving me questioning its safety standards. A helmet is a crucial safety tool for skiing, and this one failed spectacularly when I needed it most. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured, but this incident could have ended much worse. I cannot recommend this product to anyone and strongly urge the manufacturer to reevaluate the design and materials used. Safety should never be compromised, and this product missed the mark entirely. Do not risk your well-being with this helmet!

I measured my head and the helmet fit my head perfectly. But the ear flaps stuck out too far and are not flush to my ears. They would not keep my ears warn. Returned.

This Oakley Mod I Pro is a fantastic fit for my husband. He especially likes the ear pockets because he's sensitive to getting his ears squished.
