Der Oakley MOD 1 ist ein leichter Freestyle- und Snow-Helm mit minimalistischer, skate-inspirierter Form und In-Mold-Konstruktion, was ihn für lange Tage am Berg sehr bequem macht. Besonders gelobt werden die niedrige Passform, das BOA 360° Fitsystem und die nahtlose Kombination mit Oakley-Goggles, während die MIPS-Variante zusätzlichen Schutz bei schrägen Stürzen bietet. Kritisch gesehen werden die nicht verstellbare Belüftung, die bei wechselnden Temperaturen schwer zu steuern ist, sowie ein etwas hart wirkendes Innenfutter, wodurch der Helm vor allem für Fahrer interessant ist, die eine einfache, leichte und preisgünstige Lösung ohne viele Zusatzfeatures suchen.[3][4][8][12]

I tried this helmet on with and without the gator I normally ski with. It fit perfectly with the gator and, after easily tightening the helmet while wearing it, then it fit perfectly without the gator, too. Can't wait to to get out on the mountain next season!

I purchased this ski helmet, excited to finally try skiing with it for the first time. However, my experience quickly turned from excitement to fear due to a critical failure of this helmet during my very first use. As the picture shows, the helmet cracked almost completely through after what should have been a manageable fall. This level of damage is unacceptable for a product meant to protect your head during high-impact sports. The integrity of the helmet's material was clearly subpar, leaving me questioning its safety standards. A helmet is a crucial safety tool for skiing, and this one failed spectacularly when I needed it most. Fortunately, I wasn't seriously injured, but this incident could have ended much worse. I cannot recommend this product to anyone and strongly urge the manufacturer to reevaluate the design and materials used. Safety should never be compromised, and this product missed the mark entirely. Do not risk your well-being with this helmet!

I measured my head and the helmet fit my head perfectly. But the ear flaps stuck out too far and are not flush to my ears. They would not keep my ears warn. Returned.

This Oakley Mod I Pro is a fantastic fit for my husband. He especially likes the ear pockets because he's sensitive to getting his ears squished.
