Die TP-Link Tapo C100 bietet für ihren Preis eine hervorragende Bildqualität mit 1080p-Auflösung und klarem Nachtsichtmodus. Die Installation ist einfach über die Tapo-App, und die Kamera unterstützt lokale Speicherung bis zu 128GB auf einer microSD-Karte, was datenschutzbewusste Nutzer anspricht. Es gibt keine Cloud-Speicherung, was für manche ein Nachteil sein kann. Die Kamera funktioniert nur mit 2,4GHz WLAN und eine SD-Karte muss separat erworben werden. Zwei-Wege-Audio und Bewegungserkennung mit Benachrichtigungen sind praktische Funktionen, aber die Smart-Home-Integration ist begrenzt. Insgesamt ist sie eine zuverlässige und günstige Wahl für die grundlegende Haussicherheit.

The Tapo C100 is not exactly feature-packed, but it’s very cheap and very cheerful: stick a microSD card in it and you’ve got effective monitoring and recording for a knock-down price. It’s a shame you can’t use it to trigger other Tapo hardware.

Good pictures and the app is fairly simple to set up. I was a bit surprised that I can’t replay what the camera just saw (unless that’s just my IT incompetence) but I have purchased some memory cards which I hope will enable me to do that.

I bought this product to supplement my home security and I don't use it as a baby monitor. I did try it to see if it would detect baby crying. It does seem to work. Plus it works well in my window and hangs upside down in just the way I need, at just the right angle, in order to get a view of the of the driveway outside and with a way to limit the alarm trigger response. It does not work with 5GHz though; only 2.4.

THE CAMERA QUALITY IS AMAZING!! For the price point, I would buy 10 more of these. Everything about it is perfect- easy to setup, easy to use, great quality day and night, notifications for sound or motion, and the sound quality is great!
