TP-LINK Archer VR600, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Dual-Band (2,4 GHz/5 GHz), Ethernet/LAN, 3G, Schwarz, Silber, Tabletop-Router

The Router is excellent in terms of its ability to maximise the output of the connection speed coming from the Modem. My only concern is that the instructions are not clear as to how to set this up as a wireless router, as the in pack instructions only seem to talk to a DSL router. Save yourself some trouble and google how to connect this as a wireless router.

Modem was delivered in Australia with a UK plug hard wired to the transformer that is incompatible with Australian power outlets. You will need to source either a bulky UK/AUS adaptor to connect to power outlet OR a different transformer with an Australian power plug. I 'borrowed' a transformer with compatible specs (12V/2amp) from a PVR already in the home. Thereafter the installation and setup went well enough.

I used it as an internet connection between my computer destop and the modem.

Works as expected higher performance than the older model it replaced easy to setup Could do with more parental controls in the current environment i.e. make it easier to block/time limit content like facebook tiktok and other social media, roblox etc for individual units. Parental control have not kept up with requirements

After configuring about 5 Xboxes over the years with various routers, I can’t possibly recommend TP-Link routers to use if you own an Xbox and actually enjoy your Xbox being connected when you boot it. Ive had no end of problems. I have about 6 other connected devices in the house and the Bok is the only device that the router hates. Don’t believe me? Google it, you’ll find other people with the exact same problem. I set it up perfectly, it just is not compatible. I bought an ASUS and my Xbox is connected EVERY single time I switch it on, and my TP-Link is going on eBay. You have been warned. Don’t own an Xbox? You’ll be fine, it’s great for everything else.
