Comments are now so PC you can't help future buyers anymore. Please stay away from Asus routers unless you enjoy constant connection issues and poor range.

I was insanely worried that this was going to be a dud due to other reviews but this router is amazing. All my WiFi issues are gone after switching out the ISP router (I even upgraded with the ISP but it was a waste). The router won’t cover my entire property but the ability to use the app and add on additional nodes will be a game changer for the future. Very happy with the purchase!

Great product for the price and better than higher end models

I used a previous version of this - the AX5400 which went up to a gigabit - I know what I was getting into with this - I picked it because it was the same as what I knew, but had 2.5gb in and out - it performs well, I'm able to get the most out of my gigabit connection at home now boosted from 800mbps to 1.2gbps
