Der Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV ist ein Premium-Winterreifen für SUVs mit sehr starken Leistungen auf Schnee, nasser und trockener Fahrbahn. Tests und Fahrer loben besonders die kurzen Bremswege, hohe Traktion und das stabile Fahrverhalten unter winterlichen Bedingungen. Auch auf Nässe schneidet der Reifen gut ab, mit starker Aquaplaning-Resistenz und viel Vertrauen in Kurven. Das Komfortniveau ist dank geringer Abrollgeräusche hoch. Im Gegenzug liegt der Anschaffungspreis klar über dem Durchschnitt und der Rollwiderstand gehört nicht zur Spitze der Klasse. Für Fahrer, die maximale Sicherheit und Kontrolle im Winter höher bewerten als den niedrigsten Preis oder den allergeringsten Verbrauch, ist er jedoch eine sehr überzeugende Wahl.

The tyres were used to drive from London to Lech in Austria in February when there was a lot of snow on the roads in the Alps. The Pilot Alpin 5 were on the front wheels of my car and 265/30 - 20 Pilot Alpin PA4 were on the rear axle. I would have preferred to have Pilot Alpin 5 on the rear axle but they are not available in this size.
