Der Hankook Ventus S1 evo Z K129 ist ein Ultra-High-Performance-Sommerreifen mit klarem Fokus auf Nassbremsleistung und Stabilität. In mehreren Tests und Bewertungen wird er für seinen starken Grip und kurze Bremswege auf nasser Fahrbahn gelobt, ebenso für gute Aquaplaning-Resistenz und ein relativ niedriges Geräuschniveau in dieser Klasse. Die Lenkansprache ist direkt und sportlich, was ihn für leistungsstarke Limousinen und Coupés attraktiv macht. Vergleichstests zeigen jedoch, dass das Handling und die Präzision auf trockener Strecke etwas hinter den absoluten Spitzenmodellen zurückbleiben, insbesondere bei sehr dynamischer Fahrweise. Außerdem nimmt die Performance bei Kälte deutlich ab, und der Reifen ist ausschließlich als Sommerreifen ausgelegt, also kein Ersatz für Winter- oder Ganzjahresreifen. Tysta och energieffektiva däck. Känns trygga på både våt och torr väg. Slitaget är för tidigt att uttala mig om men det verkar lovande. Bra pris på däcken också. Jag är nöjd.

The tyres are good, but not the best of the best. No complains apart from two episodes. One was sideways sliding at around 70 kmh in a corner if an autobahn ramp on dry road. That was unexpected. The second was a contact with a parking/sidewalk edging at parking speed, maybe 5 kmh. The tyre has something like a rim protector, which just tore during the contact and I have both a scratched rim and a piece of rubber sticking out of the tyre (I glued it back).
