Dunlop has been my favorite tire so far, why was it? Had a horrible experience with my family on the freeway (home away from vacation). At night when it rained on the freeway at 90km / h in aquaplaning, the car turned several times and could have been there before Bringing the guardrail to a standstill! Nobody could explain how such a good tire broke out at such low speed, I do not wish anyone this experience. Until I went to my tire dealer, he examined the tires and saw both rear tires absolutely bare! How can that be with a mileage of about 12,000 km, I can't understand that, it goes without saying that I'm very disappointed.

This is my 3rd set of Dunlop's for this Audi. Total milage 33K. While the handling is exceptional they are expensive and they wear fast. The comfort is OK with new tires, but get a bit hard as tread wear off. Guess that is the cost of having 21" rims with limited choice in tires. Dunlop's wear much better than the Pirelli's.

The best non run flat you can put on an SC430, run them at 32.5/24 lbs of air (F/R). The steering will be light and easy around town and just perfect on the highway. The tire has a very firm sidewall so it tracks true and straight, no tramlining. They are quiet, comfortable, corner like they are on rails, much better than the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. They stop fast and straight. They inspire confidence and make you want to drive fast just to see what they can do, while still being comfortable and civilized.
