Mit Linux (hier LMDE 6) muss er erst mal zum Arbeiten gebracht werden. Dann zeigt sich das brillante Bild und gestochen scharfe Schrift. Nach Rechtsklick auf eine freie Oberflächenstelle kann die Ikon-Verteilung nach Wunsch mit Schiebern eingestellt werden.

Endlich im 2. Versuch einen Monitor gefunden der Flimmerfrei ist. Hab mit meiner Bewertung bewußt etwas gewartet, mein Letzter war anfangs auch i.O., nach ca 1 Wo wars dann aber vorbei, er flimmerte mal kurz, mal lang, kein Grund erkennbar. Da es augentechnisch auf Dauer ungesund war, mußte ich also wieder ran und 'nen Anderen suchen. Nach knapp 4 Wo ist immer noch alles i.O., deshalb auch meine 5 Sterne. Gruß Frank R.

Superb picture straight out of the box. Pin sharp and best contrast I have seen on a monitor. Plenty of options to let you fine tune the picture if required.Highly recommended. Currys tried to sell me a 3 year warranty but it comes with 3 year Philips guarantee anyway!Of course the audio is poor but it is unreasonable to expect more than token sound from test purposes from a monitor.

Everything is fine about this screen, except one thing: it is too damn bright and hurts my eyes. I had to give it away because my eyes are drying up and hurting in front of this screen. Impossible to reduce the luminance / brightness, which is really sad.
