The LG 27GX704A-B is fantastic for PC gaming. It offers a smooth feel thanks to its 240Hz refresh rate, and it supports all common VRR formats to reduce screen tearing. Motion looks sharp as it has a near-instantaneous response time, and its low input lag results in a responsive feel. It also delivers excellent picture quality with deep blacks in bright rooms and highlights that pop, but its colors aren't the most vivid. While it gets fairly bright, especially for an OLED, visibility is an issue in the brightest rooms.

Honestly this thing is awesome. I play in a very bright room (two windows to my left) and I have no issues with brightness. The flicker is quite bad so I turned off freesync and it’s perfect. I’m coming from the MSI 300hz QHD monitor from Costco and its not even a comparison. No banding with greys that are present on 4th gen. Had some at first but after about 10hrs of use completely gone. The difference in color, brightness and obviously darks are mesmerizing.

Just picked up the LG 27GX704A-B and I’m honestly blown away. The glossy finish on this screen makes the image look so much clearer than my old matte monitors. 1440p at 240Hz is the sweet spot for gaming right now, and the motion clarity is unreal. No ghosting, no blur, just pure speed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to level up their setup!
