Yeti Tundra 45L Cooler, Charcoal Grey, Kühlbox

Love Yeti products and this was my first Yeti cooler. The cooler was disappointing as it appeared to be defective. Though most of the ice stayed intact over a four day period, it leaked water from the drain. It appeared to be defective as the drain hole may not have been drilled correctly. No matter how much I tightened the plug/stopper it still leaked. I was a bit disappointed with REI ( I shop several times a year at REI stores and they have the best travel products and employees) when bringing the cooler back for an exchange, I had to pay a couple of dollars more as local taxes went up. Very strange.

I’ve now had the opportunity to use my YETI several times and amazed at the quality of the ridged design and the ice duration in extreme humid and high temperature environments.

Good price, love these coolers. Keep things cool for a long time. Heavy duty.

The Tundra 45 is the perfect size for a two-person weekend trip, keeping food and drinks ice-cold from Friday to Sunday. Buying it tax-free through the Exchange saved me over $55, making this premium durability a great value
