Sniper Elite V2 Remastered bietet verbesserte Grafik, alle DLCs und eine einzigartige X-ray Kill Cam, was es für Fans von Taktik-Shootern attraktiv macht. If you enjoy first or third person shooter games, if you enjoy war games, if you wanna capture videos of skulls exploding, eyes popping or legs snapping, Sniper Elite V2 is for you, the single/co-op campaign is great fun and challenging, the controls are fast and very easy, the load times are incredibly fast, online multiplayer is some of the best I’ve ever played, there’s lots of big, open maps, a billion hiding spots to snipe your enemies unexpectedly from. Just remember, this is a sniper game, using other types of weapons are inaccurate, and although the pace of the game is amazing, it gets quite action packed, running toward your enemies with a Thomson or AK47 will likely lead to you dying. I highly recommend you buy this on Nintendo Switch, you won’t be disappointed.

Sniper Elite V2 wird durch das Remaster nicht auf einmal zu einem AAA Titel. Dennoch merkt man, dass hier wirklich Zeit investiert wurde um den Titel zeitgemäßer zu gestalten. Die Umgebungen, Charaktere, Waffen und Fahrzeuge wurden sichtbar aufgewertet. Natürlich muss man auf der Switch mit technischen Abstrichen leben, erhält aber dennoch ein deutlich verbessertes Spiel im Gegensatz zum Original. Inhaltlich erhält man allerdings das komplette Paket inklusiver neuer Charaktere, DLC und aller Modi. Zudem steht der Titel auf dieser Plattform ziemlich allein auf weiter Flur und ist schon alleine deshalb für Fans des Genres fast ein Muss.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered lacks any of the polish typical with modern remasters and struggles under the weight of dated design and poor presentation. What could have been a fun little jaunt through Nazi territory devolves into an altogether lackluster experience. Only for the most die-hard sniper fans.
