Laowa 25mm F2.8 Ultra Macro 2.5-5X für Pentax K-Mount

Bought few months ago, have lots of fun with it most time I don't use my tripod so blurry pics but with tripod pics are really good. This is fully manual so takes time to move camera back an forward. Worth the money if you have patience.

I bought this lens following a review by Allan Walls on YouTube. I was interested in getting into super-macro photography and the 2.5-5 X macro lens seemed to fit the bill to start out with. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the build of this lens. So far I have used it on my Nikon D500 and D850. The lens covers the full frame format with ease, so no problems there. It is very sharp and ideal when used with a focus rail. At 2.5 magnification (f2.8) I have been able to cover a couple of trial subjects with 60-63 images stacked in Zerene Stacker. The results have been superb. I have done photography all my life and now use high end equipment. This lens is of professional quality if used correctly with a focus rail and tripod. The ring light with the battery is a must, so don't buy one without the other. This really is a 5-star piece of kit and has set me up for a whole new angle in photography.

Optically great lens but hard to work with... depth of field is razor-thin and you need a precision slider to properly stack your shots.
