Bought it for the Nikkor 800mm 5.6: fits and works: so I can recommend it!

For me, there are two issues with this strap. First, it is very bulky albeit very comfortable. It takes up too much room in my shoulder bag. Second, the strap is 1/2" wide and will not fit Sony lugs.

A lot of opportunities in the western outdoors. This new lens gets a lot of use for enhancing landscapes.

Nice and thin with good feel and positive hold at setting.
