Works, decent quality but came out of the package seriously dirty

It certainly works as a circular polarizer, but the movement is very sticky and hard to turn. Not sure if this is standard for this size or if this is just absolutely unacceptable atrocious QC. Either way, I am sending it back.

This filter was reasonably priced and it performs well. Does what it is suppose to do. Shipping was quick and no hassles

Hoya has different classes of filters but I chose the mid range because I don't use them that often. Yes, there are filters that cost several hundred dollars each but I have always trusted Hoya to give me a quality product. I purchased six circular polarizers at the same time so this review should do for all of them.

This filter is all it is made out to be! Bluer Skies, richer color tones, Less unwanted reflections ruining my photos. Threads on and off easily, quality machining.
