Inexpensive investment to protect and prevent expensive lens from dusts and scratches.

mostly to protect lens but never had a problem with a canon filter

I've gotten into the habit of buying a Canon PROTECT filter for all of my lenses. I've read way too many horror stories of broken glass on lenses and want to do what I can to protect my gear as much as I can. The "protect" line of filters may be a little pricey, but they're worth it for peace of mind.

I use this lenses for portraits and general telephoto and close up photography and i love the results the sharpness and bokeh are extremely impressive... a pricey lenses but worth every penny.

Indispensible for protecting your lenses. (But took forever to get it from Canon)
