Die Panasonic Lumix DC-S5 IIX ist ideal für fortgeschrittene Videofilmer dank RAW-Video, SSD-Aufnahme und drahtlosem Streaming. Das 20-60mm-Objektiv ist leicht, vielseitig und scharf, aber schwächer bei wenig Licht. Die Kamera ist teurer als die S5 II und einige Tasten sind im Dunkeln schwer zu erkennen. Der Autofokus funktioniert gut, hat aber bei schnellen Motiven Schwächen. Für hybride Nutzer mit Fokus auf Video eine ausgezeichnete Wahl.

I’ve been using the Lumix S5IIX for food content and videography, and it has been a clear step up from my previous setup. I was previously shooting on a Leica Q (Typ 116), which I still love, but the S5IIX has given me far more flexibility in the type of work I can produce. The visuals are incredibly sharp, the colour is true to life, and the overall image quality has made a noticeable difference to my food videos. The Open Gate 6K recording is especially useful, as it allows me to get much more out of each shoot. I can capture footage once and then adapt it for different platforms and aspect ratios without losing too much of the frame. For video-led food content, the S5IIX feels like a proper upgrade: sharp, versatile, and very well suited to the way I work.

I bought this camera half a year ago, and I started a videography career with it. You can build almost any artistic vision on the back of this camera. After low-light testing, the S5iix outshot every other camera in it's price range within a thousand dollars. It's a dynamic and powerful workhorse that you can dress up or down depending on your set needs. Only qualm is the rolling shutter. But even that isn't awful. Would recommend for anyone looking for a high-tier hybrid film camera.
