Die OM SYSTEM Tough TG-7 in Schwarz ist sehr robust und ideal für raue Bedingungen und Unterwasseraufnahmen. Sie ist wasser-, stoß- und frostfest und bietet starke Makro- und Unterwasserfunktionen. RAW und 4K Video sind große Pluspunkte, ebenso wie GPS und Sensoren. Die Bildqualität ist für Kompaktkameras gut, reicht aber nicht an größere Sensoren heran, besonders bei wenig Licht. Der Preis ist hoch und die Bedienung erfordert Eingewöhnung, aber für ein zuverlässiges Allround-Kamera ist sie eine ausgezeichnete Wahl.

Bought this for the Galápagos snorkeling, Unfortunately the camera died after 2 snorkeling sessions. It turned on briefly and went black. Won’t turn on again. Everything seemed dried in compartments. Also screen is hard to see what you are shooting while underwater.

I bought the TG-7 red from Henry's in Winnipeg in February 2026 for a trip to Australia. I also bought the flash diffuser and lens cap. It was a great choice and i found the in-camera focus stacking worked extremely well for the macro photography i did. Easy to use, good quality images.

I purchased a camera from Target online and attempted to return it in-store, but was told it had to be returned online. When I tried to process the return online, I was just past the 30-day window. I reached out by phone and email but was repeatedly denied, even though online support told me to go back to the store and ask them to accept the return. This has been going on for weeks. I chose to buy through Target instead of directly from the manufacturer, thinking I’d receive better customer support if any issues came up. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing, and I won’t be shopping with Target again.

Die Bildqualität ist auf dem Stand 2010 oder älter. Die Ausschussquote durch Unschärfe, weil die Kamera eine zu lange Belichtungszeit wählt, ist deutlich zu hoch. Der Teil der Technik, den es vor 15 Jahren in solchen Kameras noch nicht gab, ist ein Marketing-Gag. WLAN ist nur für die Verbindung zu einer App zu gebrauchen. Die Kamera in ein Heimnetz einbinden, um die Daten mit einem PC abzuholen, ist nicht möglich. Klappe öffnen und USB Kabel dran - wie vor 15 Jahren eben. Anscheinend hat Qlympus zu wenig Konkurrenz, weil sie alten Kaffee ständig aufwärmen, ohne die Rezeptur zu verbessern.
