Das Beurer BM40 ist ein vollautomatisches Oberarm-Blutdruckmessgerät mit extra großem, klarem Display, ideal für ältere Menschen und Sehbehinderte. Es bietet Platz für zwei Nutzer und erkennt Arrhythmien. Die Bedienung ist einfach und die Messungen sind zuverlässig. Nachteile sind fehlende App-Anbindung, kein beleuchtetes Display und die Standardmanschette ist für sehr große Oberarme ohne Zubehör ungeeignet. Insgesamt wird das Gerät für seine Benutzerfreundlichkeit und Genauigkeit geschätzt.

We bought this because of the rechargeable battery. The one we had been using before was using up a lot of batteries, and didn't give consistent readings. This monitor works really well, and the readings are consistent. I've checked it against readings taken by a physician, and this monitor is definitely accurate. When not in rechargeable mode and used with regular batteries, the battery life is acceptable. Happy with this purchase.

I bought this one because of the AC adaptor. Most BP monitors require frequent replacement of batteries, hence my purchase. My only criticism of the AC adaptor is that when using it, the batteries have to be taken out, and then apparently the memory function doesn’t record everything if the AC is unplugged (whereas it will do if one is on battery power only). That doesn’t bother me too much but something to note.
