18 AWG wire and not soldered. Mine went up in smoke powering a 1080 watercooled card. This wire gauge is not enough, and especially the fact that it's not soldered. It literally nearly set my PC on fire. I would not recommend it for providing more than 100W total.

Worked as designed. Was able to power my GTX 1060 6GB card with this because my PCIE power plugs were being used by another card.

Cable works as should although I don't reccomend going this route to power a GPU as you may end up with a failed PSU
