Die Akaso Brave 7 LE ist eine günstige Action‑Kamera mit überraschend guter 4K‑Videoqualität und vielen Funktionen. Nutzer loben besonders die zwei Displays, die Vlogging und Selfies erleichtern, sowie das umfangreiche Zubehörpaket mit zwei Akkus und diversen Halterungen. Die Kamera ist wetterfest und mit dem Gehäuse auch zum Tauchen geeignet, was sie für Urlaub und Outdoor‑Einsätze attraktiv macht. Gleichzeitig gibt es deutliche Schwächen: Die elektronische Stabilisierung arbeitet beim Gehen ordentlich, wird bei intensiver Action aber unruhig. Häufig kritisiert werden auch die langsame, umständliche App und etwas flache, überbelichtete Bilder über Wasser. Das mitgelieferte Unterwassergehäuse erfüllt seinen Zweck, verkratzt jedoch schnell. While it’s never going to outperform market-leading action cameras like the GoPro HERO8 Black or the DJI Osmo Action, the Akaso Brave 7 LE costs half the price of such cameras and it has a wider range of features than any similarly priced rivals, none of which boast a front screen. If you're looking for a well put together camera at a bargain price, the Akaso Brave 7 LE makes an excellent choice.

The AKASO Brave 7 LE is adequate for action video. It's incredibly portable and comes with many mounting accessories in the box. It also comes with a built-in tripod mount. It's rated to be waterproof up to 1 m without its protective case and up to 131 ft with the case equipped, although we don't currently test this. Its frame rates are a bit limited, as it can't shoot at 24 fps or 240 fps in FHD, and it can only shoot at 30 fps in 4k. Video quality overall is poor, especially in more well-lit conditions. That said, it has a decent image stabilization feature that does a good job of reducing camera shake, but it, unfortunately, incurs a severe 1.6x crop.
